Here’s Gavin stealing a birthday card that was most definitely not his. But, he soon made it his own by drooling all over it. Love the expression!
On an unusually warm Sunday in January (6th), Gavin and Mama went to the park for the first time. Gavin tried the swing, but it took him a while to warm up to it. He looked very concerned the first time out, but he tried it again later and managed a smile. Mimi, Nick and Kate joined us for this momentous occasion.
Gavin is having such a good time with his Radio Flyer walker wagon. He was pushing a chair around the kitchen so we figured he could handle the walker. And did he! He did circles around the living room and kitchen He needs a little help steering, but is cruising at the speed of .. .well, at the speed of a baby learning to walk!
Gavin wore his Santa suit again and Grammy was dressed in elf green! A holiday photo waiting to happen!
When Grammy came to visit, we had Christmas again. Gavin opened his presents while sitting calmly on the couch. Not really sure how that happened! He got lots of cool presents, including a rattle that lights up an a Christmas bear that is as big as he is!
Nana got a chance to see her great grandson on Christmas day. She showered him with love and gave him his first glass of water!
On Christmas morning Gavin opened his stocking from Grandma and Grandpa. He got lots of cool presents, but of course, loved the paper best!
Hiding under the coffee table with the real present… the wrapping paper!
On Christmas Eve, Ian helped Gavin open his presents. Ian was such a great cousin. He got everything read for Gavin’s visit. He set up a pack n play and filled it with toys for Gavin to play with. Then he helped open presents and helped him play with his toys!
