Gavin was a bit scared of his cake. After all these months of saying “Fire Hot”, putting a flame in front of him and singing happily may have been a bit confusing. But he got it together and blew out the candle. He certainly enjoyed eating the cake!
Gavin on his Horse! This is almost the same as a real horse, and almost as big! 
He can climb on it by himself, but is not quite big enough to make it move. So, of course, Mama and Daddy push him around the house.
Gavin and Mama had so much fun playing in the snow! Gavin liked to move it around, but didn’t like feeling the cold, and didn’t like falling down in it. We played in the yard, walked down the street, saw some yellow snow being made, and watched the neighbor kids sledding. I think we’re going to need a sled. But probably not until next year because it’s all going to be melted soon!
The biggest snowstorm of Gavin’s life - 4 inches! He loved shoveling the snow with the dustpan. He went through two pairs of mittens and one pair of socks on his hands playing in the snow.
Gavin was very helpful to Daddy putting together his new table and chairs.
And early birthday present from Grandma and Grandpa. Gavin is a musical prodigy. Ok, well, maybe not exactly a prodigy, but he makes nice noises. It’s actually a bit amazing how well he can play a harmonic. And even more amazing that he can say harmonica (or something like it). He can also play the spoons, maracas, tambourine, and kazoo. Our house is quite loud!
The monthly photo of Gavin in the rocking chair is taking on a new life as he can now stand and surf on the chair.
Gavin usually has some form of bedhead, but this day was definitely the worst (best) I’ve seen!
Gavin loves playing with water. He is always handing me cups and asking for water, pouring it from one cup to another, spilling it, and asking for more water.
Gavin is getting so big. I used to be able to hold him in one arm. Now he takes up my whole lap!
