Baby Girl Stults is here! She is healthy and beautiful. She is 7 lbs, 11.5 oz. We are all doing well and still trying to decide on a name!

Christmas dinner with John, Sally, Jane, Scott, Judy, and Gavin. Most of us had ham, but Gavin had a Christmas quesadilla.

Santa was smart enough to know that if Daddy got a headlamp, Gavin would immediately abscond with it. So, he gave one to each of them and now they can shine the lights in each other’s eyes!

Gavin combines a couple of gifts - the fireman kit and the hoodie sweatshirt to become the worlds first Fireman/Bankrobber!

Grammy watches as Gavin digs into a big present from her. Seconds later, he’ll be dressed as a fireman!

Gavin digs deep into his stocking to see what treasures await. He had already found the Pez and eaten the candy. Unfortunately, he hadn’t used the toothbrush yet!

Christmas morning, Gavin came into the living room to find all the presents under the tree. At first he just glanced over there with a quizzical look on his face. Then it crept into a smile. Then he mad a mad dash for the electric truck and climbed on. And then he saw the basket ball hoop hidden behind a great big bow. And so he played basketball for the first few minutes of Christmas morning. We lured him away to his stocking and later made it to all the other presents! He loved opening presents, going for the biggest boxes first (the boy is no fool!) Later, he kept pointing to wrapped gifts and asking “Is this for me?” It was sad when there were no more for him, but really the madness had to stop sometime!

Christmas Eve, after dinner with Grandma and Grandpa. All ready for bed, with no idea of what is going to await him in the morning!

Gavin was showing off for his grandparents at the dinner table. He has a hummus beard! It’s very rare that he plays with his food like this, so I was able to be amused by it!

On Tuesday, still snowed in, Gavin and other little kids in the neighborhood went sledding down the middle of the street. Gavin was fearless. He walked right up to the top of the hill, plopped himself down in a sled and was so excited to get pulled down the hill! Then said “I want to do it again!” A father of another child asked, amazed, how old he was! That’s our Gavin — no fear!
